Pine View Care, Inc. (“Pine View Care,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates a text messaging service to facilitate direct, person-to-person communications between our staff and the individuals we serve — including residents, their families, and authorized contacts.

These Text Messaging Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of our SMS service. By opting in, you agree to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.

2. Types of Messages You May Receive

This is a transactional, person-to-person communication service used exclusively for operational and care-related purposes. Messages sent by Pine View Care staff may include:

• Care updates and health status notifications
• Appointment and scheduling reminders
• Admission, discharge, and transition notices
• Requests for information or documentation
• Operational and administrative communications
• Responses to inquiries you initiate

We do not use this service for marketing, promotional, or bulk automated messaging.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. Messages are sent only as needed in connection with your care relationship or inquiry. You may receive an initial informational message when a conversation begins. Subsequent messages depend on your interactions with our staff.

Pine View Care does not charge for text messages. However, your mobile carrier may charge standard message and data rates based on your service plan.

5. How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive text messages from Pine View Care by any of the following methods:

• Submitting a web form on our website indicating consent to receive SMS communications
• Providing verbal consent in person at our facility
• Providing verbal consent over the phone with a Pine View Care representative

By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided and that you are 18 years of age or older.

6. How to Opt Out

You may stop receiving text messages at any time by replying to any message with any of the following keywords:

STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE

Because this is a person-to-person service, opt-out requests apply to the specific conversation between you and the Pine View Care staff member associated with a particular phone number. After opting out, you may receive a single confirmation message. No further messages will be sent from that number.
